I love being told, "That machine is no good. It's too expensive or hard to fix." This is a 1950 Pfaff 130 - fabled for being "impossible" to replace the specialty drive belt on. It's not impossible. Pain in the backside? Sure... but if it was assembled once, it can be disassembled and reassembled. This is an in-process post because I think it's interesting, and I'll have it up and running soon. I took apart virtually the entire upper end to get to the pulleys. While I was in there, I cleaned all the parts, and am repairing the cabinet too. The belt only cost 35 bucks, and I got the machine for free because it was "trashed". We'll see...
