Hello everyone, I have this wonderful VHS which I have had since I was born and the one thing I find very unique about it is the Black Clam Shell case. I have searched and searched and never have I found another copy in a Black case so somehow I think this makes it pretty rare! But that's just my theory, I haven't had the item appraised yet.But anyway, maybe one of you can explain the difference between the black cases and the white cases? Thanks!
Hello, your tape is an early edition, later on the case color was changed from black to white. I also have one of these that is still unopened and Factory Sealed. And I have an opened copy also. Now you know. ????
CORRECTION: The case color was changed to beige.
P.S. Your theory about it being a Rare item is absolutely correct for 2 reasons. The black cases are older and also there are way more of the white cases than there are of the black cases.
