Mid Century Miller/Thurston influenced Lamp?

I bought this lamp but have seen nothing like it. The shade is reminiscent of George Miller but the legs look like something that Gerald Thurston would do. The only marking is on the shade and it is for Veriplex which designed lighting and had two designers associated with them one of which was Tony Paul and the other I can't remember right now. I would like some help identifying the lamp. Any help appreciated.
