From Lake Arrowhead as from the bottom of the lake I was told.
Anyway the San Bernardino Mountains have a tradition of having garage/yard sales on Memorial Day Weekend. As I had to work everyday during this I left for work early and managed to score a few items (photo 4). Had I been able to get a day off I would have a haul that would take a few weeks to post.
As to the bottle they were $1 each so I bought 5 as I like to keep some ones. Back to the bottle again it is reversed embossed. The lettering etc is pressed into the glass as opposed to sticking out. Probably so they would work better in soda machines. It is a 6 1/2 once bottle but very heavy. I think you could hammer a nail with this thing.
On the front is "Good For Life" and the backside has the 10, 2 and 4 clock. Back in the day Dr. Pepper was considered food. Especially by the makers of Dr. Pepper.

Dr. Pepper took off in Waco, Texas. 10, 2, and 4 are time where the body's blood sugar crashes. They came up with the clock idea so that you would remember to buy a sugary drink at those times to renew your energy. Not food, just energy.
The bottle is known as a debossed, rather than embossed, bottle. I don't know why it was made that way, as it is more difficult to make a mould like that. Maybe just to be unique.
Now if you find the same bottle embossed, you're in luck. LOL.
I never looked into it, but was told that Dr. Pepper was a doctor who was honoured by a friend that concocted the drink and named it after him.

Thank you very much SpiritBear. I believe they were trying to pass it off as food but of course it was not.
Debossed was the word I was looking for thank you and for the additional information.

Not food, but energy. I have hypoglycemia, which is a low blood-sugar issue. I drink pop all day to keep the blood sugar up, else I risk passing out.
If you want a food drink, Bludwine or Kolatona are better options, the latter still extant and made of celery!
