This was given to my mother by a dear friend. My mother had every intention of refinishing this amazing piece, but unfortunately never did. I have since enherited this trunk along with 3 others. 2 of which belonged to my grandmother and great grandmother, which I am keeping. The fourth trunk I am also looking to find just the right home for. I elected not to try and refinish either trunks because I don't want to ruin the entegrity of them.
