Mason jar " MASON FRUIT JAR"

This Mason jar was donated to our historical society museum and I am trying to date it. No numbers stamped anywhere. Simple raised letters stating " MASON FRUIT JAR ". I assume this is a zinc lid with a white almost candle- like material inside lid. Air bubbles throughout glass jar. If anyone knows an approximate date, I would appreciate the info. Believe it's a 1 pint jar.
