These are two Made In Hawaii shirts that we found at a Yard Sale on our recent trip to Salem Oregon. Both of them are in like new condition, and I gladly had to pay over the woman's asking price of...25 cents each!!! Say What!!! B^O She tried to refuse my offer of over paying, but I insisted, and gave her $5.00 for the $1.75 of items we got! :^D
The top shirt is a 100% cotton XL Hilo Hattie "The Hawaiian Original" Made In Hawaii, it has scenes of different popular places to visit on the Hawaiian Islands, like Diamond Head, Oahu or Lahaina, Maui randomly spaced among flowers and leaves, on a beige back ground, and has a pocket on the left side, that matches the shirt exactly.
The bottom shirt is a 100% cotton XL KRAZY KLOTHES LTD Made In U.S.A. the pattern has flowers, birds, palm trees, and pineapples set all around a scene of a man in a kayak in the water below Diamond Head, with a hut and hammock on the beach, with colors of red, blue, green, yellow and orange, on a white background. I really like this shirt, except that it has no pocket, but it's so nice, I'll manage without it! :^)
I'll add these two shirts to my collection of over 60 Hawaiian shirts, that I wear daily since my retirement, 7 years ago! Like every day I'm on vacation! :^D
Thank you so much for looking at my great Hawaiian shirts! :^)
Please leave a comment, or a question, and I'll try to answer it for you!
Check back for other finds we got on our Salem trip! :^)
Well Thomas, it all started 32 years ago when my Fiance' and I went to Hawaii to get married, but in the middle of our trip United Airlines went on strike, and we had to cut our trip short, and got married 4 months later in Reno, Nevada. That was my first Hawaiian shirt, my second was when I retired, now you know the rest of the story! :^)
Thank you Thomas, we did see Don Ho, Tiny Bubbles and all! :^D
Thanks for the love too! Love to get it! :^)
Those are beautiful! I especially like the Krazy Klothes shirt.
Thanks Bonnie, if it just had a pocket! :^) It is my favorite one too, though. I will just put my glasses and pen in the shirt at the buttons, got to have them! :^D
