    A pleasant little thrift shop find for 75 cents. In very good condition, made for the export market, probably mid-century.
    "Extra Porcelain Japan OHPAR". At least, that's what it looks like to me. No photos of this particular piece on the web. When I try to Google "OHPAR"it gives me "OPRAH".

      Welp, searched all over and can't find this mark, or any part of it, anywhere. I did see several pieces with this stamp, none with any info on the maker. Also two or three attempts to find out from experts, two questions weren't answered, the one expert that wanted to help didn't get a return response from the asker. I'd say it's one of those mystery marks of some company that existed for a time but left no history behind. The other pieces looked like this one, mostly ashtrays, perhaps 50s, Japanese export porcelain. Pretty!
