No, I've not stopped collecting postcards. I've picked several up over the past few months, but rarely do I take pics of them.
Here's one that carries over to my Grand Army of the Republic (Union Army organisation formed after the U.S. Civil War) collection. You can see a banner on my door from them around the time this early 1900s postcard was made.
Unsent. Hand-applied glitter was popular in the very early 1900s on postcards. Frankly, I find them garishly overdone with thick, gaudy, gold glitter.

I see G.A.R. cards occasionally, but they're usually over-priced. They're a nice carry-over for postcard, military, and G.A.R. collectors.
Nice-- I see them with regularity.
They are all over ebay and can often be bought for less than $5.
