These kodachrome slides were taken in 1940 and show the shadows of the photographer's set up for taking 3D stereo slides using two cameras. The first image shows a clearer view of the shadow while the second image shows the overall set up. I purchased the collection of 1700 slides in 1996 at a garage sale in Lincoln, Nebraska and have been researching the photographer and his work ever since. These are the only known images of his equipment. Any suggestions/guesses on the cameras would be appreciated.

Unfortunately it is not possible to identify a camera from its shadow even if the shadow was very clear. Many cameras appear identical if you look at them directly with their names covered.
