    This Geode has a very nice interior but is not hollow like most geode I have seen. And this is because it is not a geode but it a thunderegg. Looks like it was polished after being cut open. Anyway the interior does seem to be quite striking. I am sure there is a name for this sort of geode but I do not know what it is.
    I included a 6" ruler in the last photo to show scale.

      I'd never heard of a Thunderegg. It's amazing to think that mesmerising blue was hidden in that brown lump of rock..
