Smallest basket with lid is approximately 24 inches diameter by 8 inches high colors are muted tones of salmon, dark brown, light brown, and tan Geometric designs it has a small round lid that goes beautifully with the rest of the design. I am not sure exactly where came it from I just inherited some pieces from my aunt and uncle who collected objects from their travels. The wide plaid basket looks Native American also it is approximately 16 inches wide by 4 inches high and you can clearly see oh chevron woven pattern in the straw that was used and dark diamond shape designs that go all the way around I count to be five Diamond shaped patterns and then a small depression at the bottom of the bowl the last item I'm not sure where it comes from I thought it might be Asian it is dark brown color it does look older but again I'm not sure from where this is from, it's approximately 12 3/4 inch wide measuring the lid and about 8 1/4 inches tall measuring from bottom to top of lid if anyone can help me identify these pieces I would truly appreciate it. Thank you for your time.
The last two baskets are Asian for sure. But I am not sure about the other two baskets, I have a guess but I am going to defer to user CanyonRoad, who is an expert on many things that are Native American made.
I think CanyonRoad will say Lombok, Indonesia, just my thought!
Nice looking baskets though, Franz! :^)
