We got a chance last year to buy this very nice Wides Gas sign in Oregon and finally got the time to make the trip to pick it up. Of course that's too long a drive to come home with only one sign so I did my best to locate a few other nice items to fill the truck. We hit the Mother Lode and found 4 visible pumps and 4 more big porcelain signs to add to the Lakeside Storage Free Museum. We just love meeting all the great people in this hobby! With a world filled with contention and hatred we manage to find people everywhere that just love life and are living "happily ever after" just like us! America is wonderful! Chasing old porcelain signs and antique gas pumps is awesome!

We actually did have a little space and I found another gas pump but we couldn't figure out hot to lift it in to the truck without damaging something. Remember I'm in my 70s and this stuff is heavy for old guys!

We're on the same page! I've just got to locate some more big signs to make another trip worth while and we will head back. 13 hrs each way is a drag and we hit huge storms on the return including 3" of hail going up the Pendledon grade which was no small deal!
man are living my dream! nice haul!

When it falls in to place like this last trip did it is so far beyond believable that I have to pinch myself to see if it's real! While we were headed to Salem from Tillamook my wife spotted a bunch of Signs and pumps I didn't see and made me go back to see them! Amazing find and I bought a great gas pump from the owner! Who has a wife like that????

Signaholic,
By the sound of your handle, u should understand that what u refer to as dedication, others refer to as an illness. I like your definition. Thx
