I've been talking with my local PBS QTV station about using some of my button's for a upcoming Ken Burns Vietnam War Documentary, I don't know much at this point in time but I am thrilled to think some of my collection could be used in any way in a Ken Burns film, I will be sure to give a update should this happen.

Thanks Thomas I would love to have any small part of one of his films,
99% of the button's shown are in posts and is 1/4? of the Vietnam button's I have but I'm still working on display boxes (for years now lol)

Death by boob tube ?!!!!!! I think my feelings about that War are just as strong today as back then.
I try to watch something I might learn from as the News is just a downer, I feel the same way I get just as angry or sad today, Now if I could just escape the same way we might have then.

congratulations! that is an honor as his documentaries are wonderful! i had the pleasure of meeting Ken Burns a few years ago at my mother's 70th birthday party.

Thank You ho2 yeah I like his work too I've been hooked from his Baseball Doc to date, Sounds like a nice party he seems nice but I doubt i'll have that pleasure as these would play a very small part in his new Doc.

Talked to PBS today and they will be using some of these, we need to work out a few details and sign release forms n such ;D

I found one of what I think you will find interesting, but maybe you can tell me if you know it's vintage or collectible fron this description....
It's a pin almost the size of a quarter, with a white face and black writing that says..
Against All Authority...across the top and underneath that is a symbol of what looks like three capital A's with one line through them.
I'm willing to post it, I just know nothing at all about these things and thought you may tell me if it's worthy of a post? They are cool items, just not exactly my thing. And I collect too much junk as is....lol
Hi Karen, It sounds like you have a 1990s hardcore punk band button there, The top link here will likely give the most info but thought I would send this page as it shows the -AAA- as well, I know what your saying there about collecting too much junk I start to branch out now and then until I catch myself, there's just a lot of cool stuff out there then we see even more here.

UPDATE Ken Burns PBS I fear the deal may well be off, I missed there last call almost two weeks ago the only message was they would try again last week however I haven't heard from them and my emails have gone unanswered However I did learn the burns Vietnam War Documentary will be on air this September on PBS and I'm sure it will be a great film.
