Love, love, love this bottle. I believe this is what they call a quack bottle. Measures 2.75" x 1.25" x .75". Pretty neat to hold something that was held by long gone people. This is also a cork bottle with wide, flat lip and no seam going to the lip. The neck is pretty sloppily done, which is indicative of it's age. It does have a small chip on the lip. The side that has the name is slightly concave and the bottom has nothing on it. Since I am unsure of the date, I am not even going to guess. All of my bottles date from mid to late 1800's to no more than mid 1950's. Oh yeah, it says Otto's Cure For The Throat and Lungs. Imagine all the lawsuits if this stuff existed today.
Thank you Brunswick.
It was knocked out by the Food & Drug Act in 1906.
Thank you SpiritBear. I have more bottles and my sister and I are doing digging again tomorrow .
Going digging.
