This Victorian vase is made from very pale green glass, with a band of milky opalescence towards the top. It measures 14.5 cm tall, 9.5 cm across the crimped top rim, & 7 cm across the applied, clear circular footed base. It also has an applied rigaree in clear glass. This vase looks like it should glow under UV light but does not. Rough, snapped pontil mark on the base.
Most likely English origin, I think.

What a lovely, delicate green, and further enhanced by a super frilly spiral!

Very nice. Ours just got shattered today by our cat.

So sorry to hear of your broken vase, SpiritBear. Cats & glass can be an awkward combination, sometimes!

Hi IronLace, I Love this type of Vaseline glass, I have a few and about to post another :) I see you think it's English, do you have any idea who could've made it?

I really wish I knew! This trumpet shape is such a classic Victorian design that I would imagine numerous makers used it over a long period.

Very pretty piece, it looks very similar to the candlesticks I have on CW especially the colors.
