Almost retired has allowed me to take a closer look at some of my Grandmother's treasures. Here is another one for which I am clueless. I don't see any markings so your guidance is appreciated. Mary

Looks to me like it could be "Sprial Optic Cranberry" by Fenton Glass. I'm assuming this was meant to be an "unsolved mystery?" I believe this pattern was in production starting in the late 1930s.
Hi Mary, this would be called a ruffled top pinch vase, and like TT said a Fenton Glass design.
It would help if you gave an indication of size, use a ruler or, say, 8"h, by 3" at the widest, 2 1/4" base(in example)
The more info, the better your item can be identified! :^)
Update on the red stripe vase. It is 8" high by 4.25 width at the widest point on top. Base is 3 inches.
Thank you Mary! :^)
Do you think this is older than 1950"s? Also where do I look to see any markings showing the manufacturer?
Fenton Glass did not start making their glass until the early 1970s. Prior to that they just stuck a paper or foil label on it. Spiral Optic Cranberry production began in the late 1930s, so your vase could very likely be prior to the 1950s. I'm not exactly sure when production ceased.
Sorry, marking their glass until the early 1970s. Mistakes happen when you type on a smart phone.
