Found this little purple iridescent with gold overshot glass font Atomizer that is marked Czechoslovakia on the brass collar and that has a rare Bruder Rachmann label underneath. I think it dates pre-1940's and since it has a label, I purchased it to show it to my CW Czech glass collectors. I would have loved to find it with the atomizer so as to see what it looked like originally. It measures 6" tall and 1 3/4" across. Any comments especially on more exact dating welcome. I will add a link to an old Post Card of this Glass-works in the comments section. RER

What a wonderful find, LOUMANAL!! I collect, research, study and obcess perfume bottles and atomizers. If you don't mind I am sharing your post on our IPBA (International Perfume Bottle Association) Facebook page so we can discuss this. I have recently found this link, but have yet to get it translated.

I am not yet sure if the Rachmann Metallwerke and Bruder Rachmann are the same. Bruder Rachmann could be the glassmaker and/or retailer. On the hunt to find out though.
Thanks for sharing.
Oh, and your bottle appears to be 1920s-30s.
Here is a little more info. Looks like Bruder Rachmann was the atomizer maker, like DeVilbiss.

Hi Parkerhouse! Thank you for your very interesting and helpful input on my Perfume Bottle. If you find a catalogue photo of it, I would appreciate receiving it. Bob
Hi, LOUMANAL
I have never seen this bottle before. But I will definitely keep on my radar scope.
Hi, Bob,
I am still looking for your bottle. In the meantime I have a favor to ask of you. May I have permission to use your photo of the Bruder Rachmann label for educational purposes with my fellow perfume collectors? This label represents the brothers Rachmann before they split, whereas, another one has RMH on it. Thanks.
Just found and posted a Loetz cameo marked BR. Check it out.
Thanks cameoboy.......very interesting possible connection to Loetz.
Parkerhouse! Sorry I never got back to you...of course you can use the photos of the label and or the bottle for your purposes. By all means share it with your group. Bob
Thanks, LOUMANAL!
