This was one of my buys at the Flea Market today, by accident it turned out to be a great buy! I say that, because I bought the plate because I like leaf dishes, and it was a good buy, not knowing who the potter was on the signature. The leaf dish, or plate is signed "Made for"-over-"Au bon gout"-over-"By Dodie Thayer", on the back of the dish.
The dish is 9 3/4"x 6 1/2"
I found out that Dodie Thayer, designed, molded, and glazed, these Lettuce Ware plates, that are made from real leaf molds, so each one was unique, in the mid 1960's, originally in California, and then moved to Florida, and they were the dishes that the people in the know, had to have, Jackie Kennedy Onassis, had a full set!
In recent years, Dodie has partnered with Designer Tory Burch, who has a new line of Lettuce Ware, that has grown in popularity.
Here's a link that tells more about her, and her pottery:

I'll post it in comments also!
Thank you for looking, all comments welcome, and questions, I'll try to answer! :^)

Here's one like mine, but signed Lisa Thayer, Dodie's daughter. It's called the "Sea Grape" pattern:

Looks the same, except for the signature! :^)
I love that plate!
Yes it is Thomas, but looks like the majolica leaf dishes of the 1800's, that's why I bought it! :^D
Thanks for the love too, you know I love to get it! :^)
Isn't it great Bonnie, did you check the links? The new ones are mass produced, and all look the same, but still get the high Designer prices, which raise the prices of these rare early pieces! B^D
Thank you all for looking and loving my great find,
