Happy 4th CWers
here is a mixture of buttons that include Spanish American War, WWI, WWII as well as Sept. 11,2001 and some more modern Wars (only in America)
The Maine button lower left is Spanish American War
to the right
World War - Welcome home, 6th War Loan (cloth button) save America * Welcome Buddy are WWI buttons, Seven at the bottom have the Whitehead & Hoag back paper
After I clicked and zoomed in I noticed some are still hard to read so:
Top Left - "Now you'll find out why were called The United States"
Uncle Sam with September 11,2001 on his arm punching a man with Bin Laden on his belt, a take off of the original button that was made for the Spanish American War.
2nd from bottom on left- V-Boys Defense Corps
Bottom center & #4 - Member Save America Committee
Bottom Right - US Flag and ? Flag with a cross in corner and reads: "By this sign conquer"

My collection is rather small (3 or 4000) and missing most of the real upper end buttons compared to some, One collector I talked to lost count after 20,000 ;p
I always though "Ban The Bra" a good idea but then I don't have to carry that weight ;D
