I think this was the first item I picked up at the Rose Bowl. The seller was selling a large assortment of Cream enamelware with green trim for $10 each. This set included the wire holder so I was all over that. Mostly for the holder as I had never seen one before. Serves the same purpose as a trivet, put the pot in it and put it on the table. Looks like the handles were originally painted green.
Guestimate in late 1920s - 1950s.
Nice, I've never seen a pan holder before and didn't even know they existed
Thank you very much Thomas. The basket will come in handy whem putting a pot of beans on the table.

Thank you SEAN68.
?? Not sure but might this be a marriage ?? We had a footed wire Strainer something like this on the farm, and you could *pop* out the wire basket to clean it, and pop it back in. It looked like this....so I think this is just part of a strainer...In my opinion....

Guess it could be used like it was sold for, as a pair ( Hey if it works ) ..........but I still think it is a marriage
Thank you very much antiquerose. It does appear to be the item in your link.
