I bought several box loads of old tiles about 20 years ago at a one off auction. Used them in various places around my home to create interest

I have continued to collect the odd tile when I see them at a reasonable price, but only if I like them, not because of value or scarcity

Another novel idea Duchess, actually use your collections! :^D Very nice! :^)
I have a an old wash table backsplash, that I posted in one of my early posts, "A Copper Collection", it has some nice green Arts & Craft style tiles from Minton's China Works, Stoke on Trent, in it, you might like to see it! :^)
