This is my dream Carnival Glass bowl. Right now this one is on auction on eBay, has 5 days left to go, and is already up to $150. So I think I'll pass.
For those of you who have not read the post on this site, Northwood glass was started by a man named Northwood surprisingly enough, and one of his students was Fenton, of the famed Fenton Glass. Fenton came up with the method of iridizing glass to make it look iridescent the way Northwood glass does. It was first known as the " poor man's Tiffany" and categorized as Carnival Glass. Today it is much more valuable, or at least respected.
It looks pretty Jaybop, I can almost see it! B^D I guess I'll have to pull out one of mine and look at it! LOL :^)
