How many folks have collections of stuff hidden in a dawer without a place to show them off? I love interesting, quirky and historic items and thankfully have a fair few bits from family. I made a coffee table to show it all off.
Included are
Lots of badges from my family past and some of my own like British Airways Junior Jet Club, opening of Euro Disney, school monitor etc.
Grandfather's dog tags
WW1 bullet in a matchbox (which shot granfather in the neck)
Buttons
Casino chips
Concert tickets
You get the idea....a total miscellany

Some times at estate sales, or from storage units, you can find junk drawers, or boxes. They're fun to go through, and find some lost treasures, you just have to be careful how you dig! Thanks for showing yours! :^)
Wooohhh! Misceleanous treasures, a chinese compass, Victorian mother of pearl and shell lorgnette, micromosaic bird brooch... so much to talk about here!

The Chinese compass was my dads, the micromosaic brid is actually the top on a pill /snuff box and is very delicate. I wish it was a brooch as I would wear it.
It is a real conversation piece.
