This ceramic/clay like vase has been in my grandfathers house for about 5 years now, he purchased it from a charity shop because he loved the print. He says it tells a story but he just doesn't know what. I would like to find this out for him. It is unusual, with browns being the main colour. Asian type characters with nice detail. And don't even get me started on the writing at the bottom
can,t read kanji but this is kyoto porcelain , taisho period maybe , just guessing
