These real photo postcards came out of an album kept by a Segreant during WWII. I really have no idea, but something stood out to me about the man in white, who doesn't appear to be in the military. Just a wild guess, but he looks like some sort of movie producer or someone in the entertainment industry. Anyone know who he is? Or maybe he's no one lol.

In the top photo it looks like the man is reviewing a map/document with the group of soldiers. I thought it was US Army, but I am not sure about the hat the officer on the left side of the photo is wearing.

Someone has suggested the man is John Steinbeck, but I don't think the resemblance is too strong.

      Not US soldiers.

The top photo looks to be some sort of religious event/ prayer with heads bowed.
