This early Panama Canal postcard gives the route of the canal as well as depths. The unusual thing is that the map is raised to show the depths against the flat postcard. I haven't been able to find anything about it, so I'm hoping someone might be able to find another or at least have info on it.
I was a bit disappointed when I saw it from the air. To go from the Atlantic side to the Pacific, you actually go from west to east. Won a few beers on that one.
