Check out this 1940's M&S 70 still sitting in front of the store! I picked it up and am restoring it back to its original Sunoco! It's in pretty good shape except for missing signs and globe and rust at bottom from salt. You can see under the grey paint the 2 Sunoco Porcelain strips and you can see rust the shape of a Sunoco Porcelain sign where it used to be.

Thanks vanskyock24, I did dream of restoreing this store, I do every time I pass a closed gas station. This pump was at the end of a road across the intersection, people would stop at the stop sign and look across the St. right at this pump for over 60 yrs. untill I got it. When I get it restored I'm sending a framed picture to the owner I baught it from and one to the town hall historian.
Wow, can't wait to see it!

very nice pump, just got one myself, not as good of condition as yours. I'm like you, I got too many projects and not enough time.

Thanks greasemonkey68, restoration still in the works, just put $200 into metal repairs where it had rusted 2" off all for corner post. I'll have it finished this spring and post pictures.
