Picked this up but need help identifying it by the seller's photos. They had the age and stone description wrong so got it pretty cheap. It looks to be a Moonstone and made pre 1910 but can you help further? Thanks!
Mystery Solved... I have been duped! This is not Victorian. It is not even Edwardian. It is a post 1930s brooch which is most likely mid-century per the size of the "fake" stone. The pin hinge was the killer. A GIA gemologist and jeweler helped sort this out and now, will need to send it back as not what it was advertised. SIGH.
Now need to find an inexpensive REAL Victorian brooch.
