Loetz's Medici decor comes in a variety of colors, and they are all great. The ground colors are all vibrant and they are accentuated by the oil spot decoration, rather than disguised by it. I had a yellow Medici once before, and I traded it to another collector. Although I don't regret the trade, I have always missed that wonderful piece. This one fills that void, and I'm very happy to have found it!

Thanks, Deb - I agree - the thing I really like about it is that the oil spot decoration doesn't cover up too much of that glorious metallic yellow!
