Hello everyone.
Just a gorgeous old rose gold buckle ring to show you.
Have had this one for a couple of years now and I have worn it quite a lot.....it is so comfortable and silky smooth, and fits my middle finger really well.
It has the hallmark of the 9 with the sheaf of wheat to denote Australian 9ct gold as well as the maker's mark which I have not been able to identify for the moment.
It is dented all around and a bit out of shape, but I like it like that and at least there aren't any splits in the band.
I am dating this to perhaps the late 1800s and of course it would have been made for a man.
I am really only guessing that the stone is a garnet....could be glass....either way it is lovely:-)

Hi Judy, I'm down near Costa del Sol slightly inland, we've been lucky nothing near me. France as been badly affected, I haven't seen kyra on here for a while, I hope she's OK.
Oh good Jean, glad you are ok, I hope Kyra is too.....bushfires are so frightening and there are some in Canada as well, where some Tasmania fire fighters have gone to today.
Yes, not good I suppose it's Global warming, we haven't had any descent rain in my area of Spain for a few years, it's not good. My poor trees are suffering but they keep going, maybe it's a weather cycle. I hope we have some rain at the end of the year, the reservoirs are down to 20 percent in this area.
