This looked every bit copper until I saw the "800" purity mark on the loop. Since 14 different countries use 800 silver in jewelry and there's no other mark, it's a toss up as to which country produced this pendant. Measures 2 1/2 inches including the bail. I'm not a flower person - what kind of blossom is it?
Thanks for stopping!
Bonnie
You know what, I'm with you on that, being even if it were copper it was still a beauty. But now that you know it's silver, it's even better! I definitely thought it was copper too! A real nice pendant.
By the way, you did an excellent job cleaning this as you left a lot of the patina there. What did you do that with???
Back to normal, Bonnie ?
It looks like a wild rose Bonnie, and very pretty! :^)

bb2 - oh, yes indeedie!! LOL
@shareurpassion - I used silver polish and a small sponge. I don't like blindingly bright silver, as it looks "cheap".
The girl can sniff out silver thru a hundred yrs. on dirt & tarnish !!
bb2 - at 40 paces, LOL!
Thank you, Bill, that is it!
You're very welcome, Bonnie! :^)
So lovely. I agree with you about that overly shiny color appearing cheap.
You definitely are a talented 'seeker'
Bonnie! Help, I have a question for you...have you seen 14k gold that has a 70 mark on it? What would that mean? It does test positive for 14K but I don't see that mark, only the 70 and some other mark that is not clear on the opposite side! Hope you're on right now. Would appreciate your opinion! thx
It does have that copper look to it, Good eyes and way to not overlook nice find very pretty.
