I purchased this Bolo tie at a yard sale in about 1980. I think I paid $35 for it. It is signed G&AB in script on the back. I have been able to identify it as made by George and Anna Begay. I have seen several of this design in their works. It is really attractive . It measures 2 1/2 x 2 3/4 inches
Many of George and Anna Begay's design features the crescent inlays.
I have a Begay ring - beautiful stuff!
The Native American art is so enchanting. Each piece has it's own character. I think that each item reflects what the artist was thinking.
Not like mass produced stuff we see everywhere.

Hello. I have a G&AB piece. I am having trouble verifying their hallmark. I am trying to find out more information about them. Their initials are etched by hand on the backside. How did you determine it was a George & Anna Begay piece? Thank you for any information!!
