The pic on the left is the Koch#47 wall light. It isn't mounted so I couldn't light it up.
The center pic is a Koken #140 stained glass barber pole and the right pic is the Koken when lit. They were made around 1920.
Very cool poles , love the stained glass
MickeyH, im looking at a Koken#140 and wanted to know if there should be a panel on the back side or was this to be open to access the light bulb.
Any help would be great. Jeff
Mickey,
Looks like you know your vintage barber poles. Great looking pieces
thanks ilikecoinop,
you have some beautiful items in your collection. I only wish I had the space you have so I could set up all my toys and show them off.
Barbers were untrained medics and they practised dentisty, all sorts of medical stuff and scarifying which was letting the bad blood out or using leeches etc. In the UK we had a guy called Sweeny Todd, google it and you'll never eat a pie again!
