This is less obviously Kralik but I am confident of its origins. The week I bought this I was also bidding on another vase in this very shape. It was in red with black and white spatter coming up from the base. I didn't get that one but it is a very well known décor with several examples having been posted here.
As you can see the base glass is cobalt blue and the glass itself is much thicker than that of the two orange ones I've just posted.
Height 18cm./7 inches
This spatter creates an illusion of movement - rather like a fireworks display...
Here is a link to the Kralik décor to which I referred above'

Yes, IronLace, and very hard on the eyes too!
Very cool piece! This piece is probably related to the orange piece in your previous post and the red one in the link but it is a very different shape - like a hyacinth vase version of the other two.
Glad it's cool, artfoot. The point of the link is that I've seen this shape in that red/black/white décor, thus verifying that this spatter vase is indeed Kralik.
An interestingt variation of the more commonly seen zigzag shape.
Indeed welzebub, and Ian has posted others.
Love the spots of green . I am always a fan of great spatter!
And isn't it amazing how many different spatters there actually are!
Once again my appreciation of those who stopped, looked and clicked :)
Very cool reminds my of a piece of czech that is a candlestick on one end and a vase on the other- yours would display well on on both the top or bottom down
Thank you, it did cross my mind that the mould may have been used either way up!
