old horse head

It is1/2 of a cast iron hores head with a brown marble eye. It has been cut from rest of body and the head was bolted to other 1/2of head w/a mane between them years ago.
It was believed to have come from an old merry-go-round...but I suppose it could have been an old hobby horse.
It is about 18.5" high 16" wide across head & about 12"wide @base
It has been in a fire...seems to be one of a kind
