Colonial Premier Table Lamp Torchiere Milk Shade- which couldn't find info on this company via internet but found plenty of lamps for sale by same company. Strange not to find co info but oh well...
Milk Glass light shades marked National Home Lamp Council No. 955
Pat No 2794115 - files Sept 9, 1954 inventor George O. Trier.
I needed large lamps for night stands in my bedroom and found this pair in CHKD paid $24.98 each before tax. Only one works at the moment but the hubby is going to rewire them for me.
Should look great with my gold framed artwork on the walls and the massive huge night stands.....current lamps just too small for this large furniture.
Question for lamp collectors on here
How do I clean the brush brass area without destroying the finish???
Where the thrift store put one of those darn sticky price tags took finish off underneath when I removed the sticker :(
Happy Hunting CW friends.
Love them, great find and there'll look lovely in your bedroom.

Thank you
I complain way to often about thrift store price sticker placement. But I've been very lucky with Goof Off only removing sticker residue and nothing more.
Nice find!
When I polish the wood, I often use simple liquid polish which you can find even at the wal-mart, I have had no problem with it since often I just use it for cleaning anyway and its good for your wood !
