While making arrangements to pick up our new Soverign sign we bought, I asked if the owner happen to have any other large signs. He responded that he had a couple and this Deep Rock was one hidden in the back room. Deep Rock started back in 1913 and was bought out by the Kerr McGee Co in 1955 so the signs are pretty old. Lucky me, I spotted it in the pix he sent and asked if he would part with it and we soon made our deal and he delivered it to Iowa Gas the next day. It's rougher than it looks but shows well on the pole and is a great addition to the Lakeside Storqge Collection. It is one of the last three that finally put us at the 100 "signs on poles" Mark.

Thx for the love it
Looks great from my house! Another nice piece. Will get out there someday to see your forest of signs! Get well so you can resume the hunt!

Thx for the well wishes. We still look but it is certainly hampered when working from a wheelchair. Impossible to load big signs without a lot of help, even with my special sign rack in my pick up. We pay big prices for small errors in life sometimes!
Manikin,
Thx for the love it. It's rough but cute and old
