I was lucky enough to get another Welz piece.Its body is put in a kind of clear glass ..basket? Sklo has posted a choice of this type vessels so mine is just a supplement to her great collection.
I intentionally don't call the item 'vase',because I always think about their use.Were they candle holders,vases,just decorations?And I'm constantly under the spell of their shapes ,colours and ornaments.

You have a lovely example in a less common décor, Ivonne. I think the most recent decison was that it is a decorative piece based on the style of 'Fairy Lamps'. The neck is too narrow for it ever to have been used as a fairy lamp.
