Vintage silver engraved cigarette case, flea market find. Monogram - CJ.
Marked with:
- spomething that looks like 3 in the triangle
- 900 for silver
- makers mark, which looks like S-V
I would be very thankful for more information on this cigarette case...I dont collect these, so I would like to know more :)

well, since I am from Slovakia, might be Czechoslovakia, then...
Found no such mark, nor for neighbouring Hungary or Austria. Grrr.
Nor Germany.
I think this is two photographs. There seems to be one on the left that has a different colour, and with a little kind of brush stroke in the same place at the top. But I expect everyone saw that all ready. A beautiful silver cigarette case lentilka11.
I dont understand, Gillian. This is the same silver case. I process the photos in Photoshop, thus there might be the color difference (due to shadow/higlight + color adjustment + sharpen tool). But the changes are only slight, to show the item, and I dont do heavy photoshopping. If you talk about the last photo (with hallmarks), yep, that photo is merged from 3 different photographs, to show the hallmarks from a different angle - since I can post only 4 pictures here.
