appreciate it...I picked these up yesterday....couldnt believe they were as big as this....big thick springs.....tickled ....and really didn't think they were as valuable as they are it appears....Ive got an estimate in my head but can't find the exact knife with a mint value to see the rarity.....Im wondering if its worth putting up or letting go?

The value that's wanted for the totally refinished one with mammoth grips is way up there, but yours are all original, so I don't know, it all depends what the buyer is looking for! Good Luck! :^)

OK. First an FYI: You can't list these on eBay or Etsy. You can't carry them across state lines to sell them. Every community has their own prohibitions on possession and/or carrying. To get a summary of your state's laws go to KnifeRights.org.
These large Schrade switchblades are not rare, they just aren't advertised as freely as ordinary knives. The price you can actually sell yours for, assuming that they work and there is no serious damage not shown, is $150 to $350 depending on several factors of condition. They are often offered for far more but unless they are MINT (none of yours are) you will find few buyers above that range. A collector will want to have then in hand to judge the various specifics that determine price.

P.S. "a chip and a crack or two" is what I mean by serious damage. As I said, these are not rare and there are many nearly perfect examples out there so chips and cracks, and wear, and the tip of the blade not locking down below the edge of the handle when closed, and other things, significantly affect the value. Age does have an affect on overall value but it does not excuse flaws. Think about cars. An old Corvette is worth a lot of money regardless; but if it has a smashed-in fender or a blown engine it's worth a lot less.

Not trying to sell, thank you for your opinion thats what I started this for...I don't see any reason in the world someone would pay better money for a knife thats been rehandled instead of original scales.....these are well before the ones the military bought. but thanks...
