It Wasn't all Glass, Pottery Finds At The Flea Were Good too! McAfee, Pinto, Pisgah Forest, Others Too! :^)

Yes it's true, it was a treasure hunt for sure, at the Flea Market this past Weekend.
First, a pottery that I buy whenever I can find it at a good price, McAfee Pottery from California, makes this really nice style of planters, I guess kind of a copy of some of Barbara Willis's Pottery. These are 3 small cactus planters, glazed with pastel colors of green, yellow, and blue, with the brushed terracotta pottery on the lower part of the planter. They make a nice grouping of small cactus, for a table, or bench end. Each planter is 2 1/2"sq. and 2 1/4"tall, tapering to a small foot of 1 3/4"sq. Marked on the bottom McAfee 370
Next is the Pisgah Forest Pottery, from North Carolina, creamer. It has a rose colored interior, and modeled gloss sky blue exterior, it's 3 1/4"tall, 3 1/2"wide, 4 1/4" from back of handle to spout, and 2 1/4" at the base, that's imprinted with a kneeling potter at a wheel, with Pisgah up one side and forest down the other, with 1939 under the potter. This is a rare piece of pottery for me, I may have just one other.
Third is a Pinto Pottery water cup, or vase.

Pinto Pottery was the precursor to Desert Sands Pottery. It existed in Boulder City, Nevada beginning in 1946 and lasted only until 1949 when ownership was re-organized and the pottery was renamed Desert Sands.
This is my first piece of Pinto Pottery, I have quite a few pieces of Desert Sands though.
The blended clay of orange, gray, blue, and white cup, has an unglazed exterior, and clear gloss glazed interior. It's 3 1/2" tall, 2 7/8"across the flared rim, and 1 5/8"dia. bottom, and is ink stamp marked PINTO POTTERY, on a curve, with Handmade, under it.
Next is a nice cornflower blue Water Pitcher. It has a 1930's look, the thumb rest handle comes up from the jug, to meet the top of the pitcher rim, at the rest, and creates an egg shaped look, with the lip rolling off the other side, with an open spout. The pitcher is 8 3/4" at the tallest point, 6 1/2" at the widest, and 3 1/4"dia. at the footed base. It's unmarked, and I don't know who made it, but I like it! :^D
Last a Chinese man and woman, salt and pepper, a cute little couple, glazed with teal, dark blue, brown, with gold trim, and pink hands and face. They are 3" tall, and marked on the bottom with a hand painted M over G, and I don't know who made these either!
This was not a normal weekend at the Flea, an exceptional yes! :^D
