Porcelain pump signs that are hanging out in the man cave, the texaco pump sign is out of the 1930's, one fire chief sign is dated 1947 and the other is 1961. The standard red crown signs are dated 1954 and 1955. The "premium" pump sign is not dated but probably out of the 1970's. The Polarine Oil was actually painted on with a stencil, I have an authentic brass stencil that is out of the 1920's they used on wooden oil barrels. Thanks for looking!
Thanks metalman, officialfuel, MMM, trukn20.
Thanks MooreAntiques, oilman514, leighann, and ttomtucker!
I actually saw a small stencil that said "red crown", I'm assuming its red crown gasoline from standard. How can you tell fake stecils from real ones?
The one that I have is brass and is very thin, I will post later this week what is actually looks like. I know this is the real deal because it came out of a Standard Oil Museum.
Thanks tommy1002.
