Jauch Mantle Clock restored

Hi all, this is the previously presented Jauch Triple Chime mantle clock. Now after restoration. Many coats of shellac and adjustments later, here it is in all it's french polished glory. Clock keeps time well, all three chimes, quarters and chime the hour, work perfectly. Getting this movement in and out of this clock was like getting the proverbial camel through the eye of a needle, but obviously, it can be done. This is without any doubt, the finest mantle clock I have come across, such beautiful engineering in it's movement and accessories and a case that has to be seen in person to really appreciate, the grain has the characteristics of aged leather and that's rare indeed.
