I found this sterling silver frame but I cannot understand the hallmarks. It is either Williman Comyns or Neil Lasher. It looks more like Neil Lasher, but I am somewhat uncertain. Any information would be appreciated. The hallmarks are W.C and NLS, a little standing figure, an animal and the letter T.

It is just my opinion but looking at quality of this frame I would say that this is a Neil Lasher Silverware Ltd piece. Maybe inspired by William Comyns?
The quality of a William Comyns piece is so much higher.

Thank you Mp.kunst I was thinking that as well. My confusion is the W.C hallmark, what does it mean? Why is it there? I agree, William Comyns quality is much higher.

It is one that I made. We actually copied an original made by William Comyns.

We left the original Comyns makers mark with permission of the Comyns Silver company who were still working at that time.
