This Venetian glass compote stands 10" tall and measures about 6 1/2" across on the bowl.

There are two dragons that form the stem. The top one has oustretched wings.

    Gold inclusions are throughout.

The piece is in excellent undamaged condition.

Ooooh!! i love it, they are seldom found without damage as they are so fragile.
      Well done.

I like the two dragons and the size of it. I show a smaller one in my collection with a swan in the center.

I can't say enough about the esthetic qualities of this piece. The double dragon connector is superb in concept and execution. (The red damask cloth creates a lot of visual excitement with it.) My fantasy would be to see it paired with matching candlesticks as the ultimate console set. If you ever decide to sell it, let me know.

We won't let the #4 daughter see this, or I'll have to find one :-). Neat goblet Scott, thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for looking and commenting kerry. Good luck when/ if you need to find one of these. They are fairly unusual-- I haven't seen more than a handful available in my years of collecting!
