Picked these stunning little vases a couple of weeks ago in local charity shop for £5.00 an absolute snip in my humble opinion, I really appreciate the work involved in manufacturing these. The have a very nice white twist detail running the length with a candy stripe between each twist detail. There is also some very small gold particles to both the handles on the greeen vase and the frills on the pink one. There are no identifying marks/stamps so I can only hazzard a guess at Murano but may be worng. Both vases stand approximately 5" in height.
If any expert or glass enthusiast can enlighten regarding manufacturer and or date then that would be great.
    Many thanks in advance
    Alex

I think these are great! Sorry, I can't help you with any info but I can tell you that these look good enough to eat. Love how happy the colors are.

Hi, well done!! they are Italian latticino filligrano, the gold flecks are called Aventurine, as to who made them will be hard to tell as there are so many great Italian glass blowers, but one possability could be Salviati, try begining with him and do some research on the web, i am sure you will find a lot more information about them.
I love this type of glass.

Thanks Susan, think you are spot on with Salviati. Hadn't heard of filligrano but had heard of adventurine so learned something else, cheers.
