Hi MetalFan, and welcome to CW,
I'm sure someone will be able to help you with this, but I have a Rocker very much like this one, that was passed down to me. I grew up with it, so it's over 60 years old, but I don't think over 100 years. I think that these chairs were made to look like an antique Windsor, that would be over 200 years old, they were painted with a black varnish/paint, with the lighter areas to look like they were worn with age. They are still nice looking, and useable too, but as a production chair won't ever have a large value. So enjoy it! :^D
These are just my non-expert thoughts though! :^)

Here's one very much like yours, but it has a Rush seat, and apparently a Windsor Rocker.

      Just for information anyway! :^)

Agree Windsor style rocker, probably mid to late 20th century.

Looks like the hand rests were chewed on! Some work on it will only enhance appreciation and usefulness.
