This pair of vases are each around only 3 1/4" (8 cm) tall. They are a transparent ruby red glass with clear glass handles. The two vases vary slightly in height and thickness of the glass but both have the same (apparently sandblasted) mark on the underside of the 1 3/4" (4.4 cm) diameter foot. I would think that mark should date these vases to interwar Czechoslovakia (1918-38).
I have seen several arguments for attributing this mark to, at least, "probably Kralik". I will add a link to an in depth discussion of this mark in the comments below - and my thanks to welzebub for all the help.
