    Another box lot find. I know nothing about Marbles. Here is a group of marbles. Some Bigger ones I/m told these are shooters and some colorful clear ones cat eye I think, is there a site to give the history of Collectible Marbles????

      What are Bennington's ?? Is it a marble ??

      mikeigotit, The majority of the marbles in your photos are what us marble collectors would call modern marbles, made from the '50s through the '70s with some even being very modern imports. The Bennington I see is the Large blue irregular shaped marble sitting atop the frog. Looks like a couple clay marbles on there also. The Bennington and the clays would be the older marbles from early 20th century. Not much value here but stick them in an old Ball jar and somebody might come along and give you $50 at flea market or yard sale. Or just sit on a window sill and enjoy! That's what I do with my "newer" ones and dupes.
